School Workshops & Professional Development
The Spotlight Method is proven, effective approach to increasing student involvement
and achievement using the Dramatic Arts.
In my teaching career, I have taught thousands of workshops to both teachers and students. My expertise is in
creating an active classroom where students are excited to learn. This is achieved by utilizing fundamental exercises
to create a sense of safety, infusing a personal connection to the material, getting students working together,
and challenging students to think creatively.
Easy to apply to most subject areas
Fun but never frivolous
All workshops are fast-moving, interactive, enjoyable, and highly practical
These techniques have been practiced and tested in many, many public
and private schools in NYC and across the country
Participants will participate, not listen to theory
